Vilas County Veterans Service Office
Assist veterans and their families by
answering questions, advising, and educating individuals on what benefits are available from federal, state, county, and local resources. Assist in filing necessary claims with the VA.
The Disables American Veterans (DAV)
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) provides free van rides to and from the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Veterans who don’t have other transportation options.
If you're a Veteran in crisis or concerned about one, the Veterans Crisis Line is a free, confidential resource that connects you to a real person specially trained to support Veterans. You don't have to be enrolled in VA benefits or health care to connect.
